Project Description

For Chicago Foundation for Women (CFW), a nonprofit investing in women and girls as catalysts for building strong communities for all, I built two micro-sites in WordPress CMS with custom themes for their 2016 and 2017 digital annual reports. Additionally, I worked on their main website, which is also in WordPress. Throughout the projects, I provided design consultation services and served as the lead designer for the mobile and responsive versions of all three websites. I created new pages with specialty interactions on their main site, integrated their CRM to accept online donations, and provided ongoing website maintenance for their existing WordPress CMS. In addition to these tasks, I created HTML email campaigns, pop-up surveys for users, and collaborated on general marketing efforts for the organization.

Overall, my work with CFW helped elevate their online presence, improve user experience, and increase engagement with their stakeholders. I implemented design best practices, optimized the websites for search engines (SEO), and ensured that all digital content was accessible to all users. It was a rewarding experience to work with an organization that is dedicated to empowering women and girls and I am proud to have played a role in helping them achieve their mission.
