Project Description

While at Erikson Institute, a graduate school specializing in early childhood, I provided website maintenance on their existing WordPress CMS, the student portal, and created an intranet in SharePoint. Maintenance of these platforms involved a number of page redesigns, bug fixes, and content updates. On the main website specifically, I designed and developed a new main menu to make it easier for users to navigate and digest the vast amounts of information, created a new staff directory, built a new events calendar, and added specialty pages.

As a member of their marketing team I regularly monitored website analytics and made data-driven decisions to optimize performance and user experience. I also collaborated with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns. In addition to this, I utilized BlackBaud and their custom CRM to create a special HTML email drip campaign designed to increase enrollment and to be fully automated. It tracked an potential applicant through their enrollment lifecycle with automated touch-points. I also designed and developed many Landing Pages for lead generation. On top of all of that, I helped create and develop Erikson’s first monthly newsletter, utilizing Mailchimp and conducted trainings with multiple departments on how to use the segmenting system I set up in their Mailchimp.
